I am looking for a crossword I played when I was first learning the puzzles. It contained ten errors (intentionally) and was very helpful for learning how to play a nyt crossword. The errors had to do with:
a two letter answer
repeated words
symmetry
misspellings
numerals as part of the answer (2-d or something)
one of the clues was something like "number of errors in this puzzle" (there were nine so the answer was "ten"
Any help would be appreciated.
PS I found THURSDAY, JUNE 19, 2008's puzzle (LIES). It is similar but the errors are not related to puzzle construction. I think the puzzle I am looking for was in the mid to late nineties.
