WHOO's Interupting?

 :)
Green source, briefly   ATM
Theme: HOO interpolated in phrases
Bad luck, and {theme}   HOODOO*
While clever clues weren’t featured, there were good ones and some unusual entries, like “Adjusted for a larger group, as a recipe” = QUADRUPLED.

*In John Fogerty’s “Keep On Chooglin” he mentions “Chasing down a hoodoo there.”  I thought it might be a possum, but at any rate it’s a noun that can’t mean bad luck, the dictionary definition.  Any ideas?

RATING:  ;D ;D Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = No fun
