Title: LAT Fri. 9/16 Donna S. Levin
Post by: magus on September 16, 2011, 09:52:58 AM
Yes, Indeed

 :)
It has some smart Alecs   MENSA [note capital A]
Sugar plant   REFINERY

 ???
Dead end, workwise   MCJOB [I think it means a lowly job, not necessarily a job that leads nowhere.  One can become a manager of the restaurant and parlay that to a manager’s job elsewhere, and soon become the maitre d’ at Alinea --- but you’d have to move to Chicago.]

 :o
Amazing that with all the “foreign” terms in this puzzle, not one disturbs my delicate sensibilities:
ARCA
SALSA caliente
MEDITERRANIANSI
TWELVEOCLOCKHAI
THEROYALOUI
Chevre
Cansons de GESTE

Does Donna have stock in Apple:  IPOD & IMAC in one puzzle [note lower case for these products]

RATING:  ;D ;D  ;D  Three grins = Excellent: Loved it; Two grins = Good: Enjoyed it; One grin = Satisfactory: A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Unsatisfying: No fun
