Possible Title: Four C-Notes

Theme: Intrusive C’s

Good Ones:
“Come on-a My House”…   CLOONEYTUNES
Daily chore for Travolta   CLEFTCLEANING
Big time   ERA
It can be placed at a window   BET
Number from the past   OLDIE [like the Clooney songs]
Café supply   LAIT [as in au lait]

By the Way:
Deceive   FOX [this verb has, for some reason, become “out fox”  Raise your hand if you recall having heard or read the verb FOX without “out.”]

Who knew?:
Niamey is the capital of Niger, the country not the river.  Wonder if it rhymes with Miami.

Some Nits to Pick:
Chums   COHORTS [not the same, so “Men” would be as accurate a clue; often chums and men are cohorts]

Bikini event, briefly   HTEST [I’ve heard of A-test and N-test, but I’m not buying an abbreviation for hydrogen bomb test.]

RATING:   ;D ;D Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun
