Good Title: Double Overtime

Theme: phrases containing letter combination OT twice [OT = “overtime” in sports]

Good Ones:
There are two of them in {theme}   OTS
Writer’s bottom line?   FOOTNOTE
Stick in a scull   OAR [not skull]
Flier   PLANE [I thought “pilot”]
Take-out order   STET
Speaker of Cooperstown   TRIS [oldie but goodie]

By the Way:
Honorary legal deg.   LLD [we’ve been through this last month: in some schools it is earned, so to refer to it as honorary, while correct, seems a bit insensitive]

Who knew?:
OTHO was the emperor before Galba.  I would’ve sworn it was Balga, or maybe even Bagla.

Some Nits to Pick:
OTRA [aside from being purely Spanish and never used in English, half the time the answer is OTRO.  You see, gender matters in Latin tongues, and…]

RATING:  ;D ;D Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun

:)  I thought today's puzzle was a good bit easier that recent Gorski puzzles.
