Post by: magus on July 29, 2012, 09:03:13 AM
Theme: Phrases starting with words denoting heat

Good Ones:
Union agreements   IDOS
Play mates?   CAST
Take the wrong way?   STEAL
Enters into a deal?   ANTES
Ancient adder   ABACUS [I thought some snake I never heard of]
Bed intruders   WEEDS [reminds me of “Wake Up and Bar the Door”]

By the Way:
Amazed   INAWE [I’m amazed how often this entry has been made of late]

Symbol of Prohibition era…   ALCAPONE [finally when icon (image of a person) would be best, we get symbol --- of late, icon has virtually replaced symbol (thing) in print and speech]

Seasonal sprite   ELF  [third time in less than a week Christmas is not used (bowdlerized?)]

RATING:   ;D ;D  Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun
