I've got an otherwise nice puzzle I think, but I just realized I have ICEDIN and ICEPOP in the same puzzle. Is this a puzzle killer? Thanks!

Definitely a dupe. Gotta fix it.

I already knew that deep in my heart. That was a desperate cry right before bed hoping to find justification. Haha. Thanks for your confirmation.

I've just finished a puzzle from "The New York Times Feisty Friday Crosswords," ed. by Will Shortz (pub., 2016). Clue is "B, for one"; Answer is "Capital Letter." In the same 15 X 15 puzzle, another clue is "Fancy invitation feature"; and the Answer is "Raised Lettering."
The double use of "letter" is not that great; but it's there. There is nothing unusual about the puzzle that would warrant this "double use." so, who knows? I'd avoid it anyway, especially if the meaning is pretty similar.
