On Christmas, on birthdays of well-known actors and singers, and on anniversaries of major events, there are often puzzles themed to the specific day, but this is the first time I have seen a crossword with an April Fools Day theme. It might be fun to create an April Fools Day puzzle in which none of the clues match the answers. Of course such a puzzle would probably be almost impossible to solve.
