Today's crossword includes Elvis Presley's middle name of ARON...but Vernon and Gladys wanted his middle name to be "Aaron", after the High Priest in the book of Exodus. It was misspelled on the birth certificate.
Another now-famous person was also named after a Biblical character. When she was a child, so many people mispronounced "Orpah" as "Oprah," she gave up trying to correct them and has been Oprah Winfrey ever since.
