THEME:   none, but only 26 blocks! [don't know anything about Xword programs, but I'll bet it's not easy even with one]
   
GOOD ONES:    
Private collectibles?   TOY SOLDIERS [privates are soldiers]   
It may be fit for a king   BED LINEN [king-size bed, or the King wearing SUSPENDERS  ;) ]   
Call for passage   AYE [vote in Congress, etc.]   
Split personality?   CHEER LEADER [they do splits] [CHEER LEADER may be a fabric softener  ::) ]   
   
BTW:   
ASEA is not the equivalent denotatively or connotatively for "at sea" which can mean perplexed.
