THEME:   end of the first word of a phrase and the beginning of the second form a Greek letter

GOOD ONES:
One spans two words…   GREEK LETTER

Reptilian tail?   -SAUR
Points at the table   TINES

BTW:
Impressive work, especially to get IOTA and OMEGA in, but for this solver it was less fun than it might have been.

It's a fact   DATUM [maybe yes, maybe no]

Pequod co-owner   PELEG [must've made a bigger impression on me that I thought as I remembered the name (after I had PE) though I haven't read the book in over 50 years --- good goin' Herman!]    :)

RATING: ;D ;D
Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun
