Title: Mon., 5/26 Grabowski & Venzke
Post by: magus on May 26, 2014, 08:54:17 AM
THEME:   last letters of both words of a two-word phrase are ME

GOOD ONES:
Kid's response…{& theme}   ME ME

BTW:
Aside from the most clever theme, this is a typical Monday, except for its being Memorial Day.  I find it telling that this puzzle reflects the ME ME Generation while ignoring today's honoring of our war dead.  I understand it, however, given Viet Nam, Iraq, and Afghanistan.  Yet the draftees, at least, should be honored for their sacrifice; and, therefore, Memorial Day should be widely celebrated in the media --- even the politically incorrect The LA Times.

RATING: ;D
Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun
