Post by: magus on March 31, 2014, 10:24:04 AM
THEME:   last word of a common phrase rhymes with SLUDGE

GOOD ONES:
Rogers and Clark   ROYS [sounds like an expedition team]

BTW:
Overzealous type   ULTRA [clue calls for a noun but as far as I know ULTRA is an adjective]

RATING:    ;D
Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun

I think he deserves some credit for working 6 theme answers into the puzzle.

Yes, he does.

His puzzles are among my favorites; too bad Mon. & Tue. offerings are denuded of clever and/or challenging clues.

BTW, I had amended the comment about ULTRA, which I found was indeed a noun, but somehow the original was maintained and my change was not saved.  Makin' me look bad!
