Title: Sat., 3/22 Ed Sessa
Post by: magus on March 22, 2014, 09:26:26 AM
THEME:   none; 34 blocks

GOOD ONES:
China from America   LENOX
Gardner with plots   ERLE
Where to find Independence Hall?   C-NOTE
Baker with Grammys   ANITA [odd that EMMYS is also used today]

BTW:
With Ed's puzzles we always get at least one Italianate and one medical entry.  Today we had AGITA and blood CLOT, but I'm not sure into which category AGITA belongs.   "Gut feeling" could be scientific in the sense of stomach upset or Italian, translating to a state of being emotionally upset or in turmoil.

Never understood the enthusiasm for THE BIG LEBOWSKI, a movie I could not complete --- guess I thought the Lebowski was less than average.

RATING:    ;D ;D
Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun
