Title: Fri., 2/14 Xan Vongsathorn
Post by: magus on February 14, 2014, 09:28:48 AM
THEME:   first word of a phrase is jumbled starting with U

GOOD ONES:
"Lead the way" [and phonetic theme]   YOU FIRST
Vessel storing a cash stash?   URN FOR YOUR MONEY ["run for your money"]
Handle for a chef?   STU [I thought utensils]
Cozy spot?   TEAPOT [the cozy covers the pot]
Part of one's inheritance   GENE

BTW:
T. Rex, e.g.   DINO [not familiar with this abbr., but Dean Martin would work]

No paper again today, so I used electronics.  It occurs to me that virtually everyone does: constructor uses computer to build the puzzle; he sends it via the net to the editor who uses his computer to make changes; he sends it via the net to the paper; the paper uses computer to ready it for publication (both paper and computer programs), and the solvers use their computers to access the net and complete the puzzle.  Untouched by human hands.  There must be few throwbacks like me who prefer the pen, but even I use the net to post my dailies.

RATING:    ;D ;D
Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun
