Title: Tue., 10/8 Clive Probert
Post by: magus on October 08, 2013, 08:58:57 AM
THEME:   first words of phrases begin with parts of an envelope address, in order.  Clever; too bad it's covert.

GOOD ONES:
"Big" London attraction   BEN [I think the quotation marks weaken the clue a bit]

BTW:
Hold dear   ADORE [I hold my neighbor dear, but I adore my granddaughters --- it's a qualitative difference]

Refill to the brim   TOP UP [ in Great Britain, but it's "top off" here --- "What, what" --- wager Clive is a Brit]

RATING: ;D
Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun

You're right, clever theme. I missed it and had to go back to see it after reading your comments.
