THEME: phrases which can mean CATCH
GOOD ONES:
Some slogans {& theme} CATCH-PHRASES
Id checker EGO [I first read it ID so I guess it was a Freudian slip]
Negative impression DENT [oldie but goodie]
Put in a word or two? EDIT [I'll bet they do more than that --- mine did]
BTW:
Betsy's Wedding by Alan Alda was great fun, especially the character played by Anthony LaPaglia.
Crossing NAHUM with SUMER is unsporting if not just lazy.
Signal to the runner STEAL [the signal is not the steal; the signal (noun) says to steal (verb)]
Advice after an injury, perhaps SUE [I guess, if you're the type. I'd go with "Lawyer's predilection" or "A Girl named ___".]
RATING: ;D ;D
Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun
