Title: Wed., 8/28 Pancho Harrison
Post by: magus on August 28, 2013, 08:56:33 AM
THEME:   enjambed phrases beginning with words of disparagement

GOOD ONES:
Put down formal education?   DEGRADE-SCHOOL
Put down a rock genre?   DEBASE-METAL
It's in many poems   TIS [purists may call for a comma after "It's"]
Wrangler material   DENIM
Waist management   DIET
Popular pieces   REESES [I thought music or essays]

BTW:
Start of a morning diner order   A-CUP [not the verbal order, which would just be "coffee," but the order taken as a whole]

{STUDENTS} have to talk their way out of them   ORALS [I guess if the tests are traps, but they are defenses of what the students wrote, so they are talking professors into something rather than out of it.]

RATING:    ;D ;D
Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun
