THEME: letters in SPIN found mixed-up (spun) in random phrases --- each quartet "spelled" differently
GOOD ONES:
Gilbert & Sullivan work… HMS-PINAFORE [last of the theme entries with SPIN letters in order
BTW:
Sei is used only in Italian, which is a pretty language but inappropriate here.
I enjoyed the theme more than the cluing or fill.
