Not Enough Letters*

 :)
Nice thoughts?   IDEES
Name on a compact   ESTEE [not a car as I had first thought]
Helpless, in a way   ALONE
Mini exhibits?   KNEES
Shoot the breeze, e.g.   IDIOM [yesterday we had IDIOMATIC for a different idiom]
Radio-active sort?   CBER [note hyphen]

 :(
Self-destruct   IMPLODE [In the same way explosion does not denote self-destruction, implode doesn’t, but rather to be crushed from outside.

*In my reactionary world, TMI is BS --- I don’t text, but if I did, would I ever need that abbreviation?  TMI sounds like the writers of 30 Rock trying to be hip.  (See Edd “Kookie” Byrnes of the 50’s TV show 77 Sunset Strip --- inane abbreviations were lame then --- to a thirteen-year-old.)

RATING:
;D ;D
Three grins = Excellent: Loved it; Two grins = Good: Enjoyed it; One grin = Satisfactory: A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Unsatisfying: No fun
